Abstract

The business world is characterized by the constant changes that organizations must face, so they have had to guide their strategies for human capital to develop their capabilities to the fullest, in order to improve their work performance. Based on the above, this research was oriented to analyze the Knowledge Incentive System (KIS), used by the company Textil Sydney, in order to determine its relationship with labor performance. The study was of a descriptive and exploratory type; the population was made up of 300 workers from the daily payroll of the Textil Sydney company, participants and not of the incentive program; for the sample a stratified probabilistic formula was applied, obtaining a sample of 73 people. With respect to data collection techniques, three surveys and an equal number of questionnaires were applied, directed at S.I.C. participants, non-participants and supervisors; in addition, Cronbach's alpha was applied for the reliability of the data used. Based on the surveys applied, it was observed that 100% of the workers indicated that the S.I.C. is an opportunity to develop human talent, since it allows, through training and incentives, to strengthen human capital and, with it, to improve the productivity of the company. It was concluded that the S.I.C. has made it possible to improve the work performance of the workers of the Textil Sydney company, since it promotes the development of their skills.
