Abstract

The objective of the research was to describe the generation of microbusinesses in inflationary environments. The approach used in the research was qualitative, descriptive because it describes the situation and context of the generation of microbusinesses in inflationary environments. For this purpose, content analysis was used to review and interpret documents or scientific research that address the research objective and statistical information published by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics and the National Reserve Bank of Peru was also used. The results are that the effect of the inflation rate in Peru can last between 6 to 12 months and reduces the generation of new microenterprises; Likewise, it is evident that the increase in bank interest rates from 10% to 20% annually has not reduced the increase in Peruvian microenterprises. It is concluded that microenterprises do not usually resort to financing, their cash cycle is sufficient, but when they require it, they are financed in the short term. Likewise, these are maintained with the cash flow from sales, making it possible to deduce that they have greater capacity and speed of response to external shocks.
