GAPS IN THE QUALITY OF CARE OF WOMEN'S PROTECTION SERVICES AGAINST VIOLENCE

The objective of the research was to describe the situation of the gaps in the quality of care of the public services for the protection of women against violence in Huancavelica. The method used will be a quantitative approach. It is also descriptive. The care barrier, quality and the institutions that provide protection were chosen as variables, these three variables with respect to the services that the population resorts to in the face of violence against women. Then these variables were broken down into dimensions so that each of them conforms to a question from an interview to the users of the services of these institutions. The last step meant contrasting the data obtained in the second part of the discussion to verify if they corresponded with the measured data of gap indicators in the same variables and in charge of public institutions, as long as they were freely accessible. It was found that there is a lack of information on the measurement of gap-closing indicators by regional, provincial and district government institutions, as well as by institutions that provide protection to women in cases of violence.
